Eemil Santeri Hyvälempi (Valimian pronunciation: [eːmil sɑnteri hyʋælempi] born Emil Alexander Guteliebe; 5 February 1862 – 17 June 1953) most often refered to as Santeri Hyvälempi was a Hesuro-Valimian military officer and socialist statesman. He was the founder of the Federation of Valimia and its first president. He is most known for the dissolution of the Valimian Empire and major industrialization and modernization projects that helped form Valimia into a liberal democracy through extensive internal reforms and policies collectively known as Santerism.

Born to a minor noble family, Hyvälempi attended Festunki Military Academy. During his academic years, he would be exposed to Pan-Aroism and Socialism both of which would influence his future political views. Eventually Hyvälempi would climb through the ranks of the Valimian Imperial Army rising to the position of Generalleutnant. Hyvälempi rose to prominence during the X War where he played a key role in the battle of X. For his military accomplishments, he was made the Landmarshall of Nebmersia, his place of origin. During his time as landmarshall, Hyvälempi observed the stark social and economic differences between Nebmersia and the rest of the Valimian Empire laying the groundwork for his reformist principles.

Prior to the outbreak of the Great War, Hyvälempi was a prominent voice in the army for modernization. When the war broke out, Hyvälempi was initially put in charge of the X front where he would organize the Hyvälempi Line and halt enemy advances. Hyvälempi's successes in the early days of the war would set him apart from the rest of the military command with him being put in command of the liberation of East Berea later in the war. Hyvälempi would emerged from the war as a national war hero being seen as the saviour of the empire.
