The University of Eastval is a public research university located in the Municipality of Beschertal in the Radictistani County of Eastval. The university is known primarily for its distinguished programs in biology, agricultural science, geoscience, and medicine.
Organization
Governace
The long-term strategic direction of the university is the responsibility of a fifteen-member Board of Governors appointed by the Royal Governor of Eastval for ten-year terms. The Governors appoint a university President to oversee day-to-day management of the institution.

Campus
The main campus sits on 412 hectares (4.12 km2) of land along the western border of the Municipality of Beschertal. The College of Agricultural Sciences operates a 1,250 hectare (12.5 km2) experimental farm in the Reenkamp Department.
Libraries
The main campus has five subject libraries all named for key university donors. The Andreau Nelgiz Library contains volumes on the humanities and fine arts. The Countess of Eastval Library and Jurek Yul Library concentrate on the hard sciences while the Camilla Grunmark Library is for the social sciences and business studies. The Markus Kamren Library contains volumes on medicine.
Museum
On the main campus is the Eastval Anthropological Museum. The museum's focus is on Radictistan's prehistory of human habitation.
Hospital
The main campus is home to the Royal Eastval Hospital, a teaching hospital operated by the University of Eastval Medical School. The hospital is one of the most highly regarded medical facilities in Radictistan.
Academics
Undergraduate
The University of Eastval awards Bachelor of Science (B.S.), Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.), Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.), and Bachelor of Accountancy (B.Acc.) degrees.
Graduate
The University grants Master of Arts (M.A.), Master of Science (M.S.), Master of Accountancy, (M.Acc.), and Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degrees. The University also awards Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.), and Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) terminal degrees.
University of Eastval Press
The University of Eastval Press currently publishes thirty-five academic periodicals and has published over three thousand books since its foundation.
Student life
Housing
The University of Eastval requires all first-year undergraduates to live either in university housing or with legal guardians or blood relatives. The main campus has thirteen residence halls with a total of over 16,000 beds. Seven residence halls are exclusively for first-year students with the remainder in use by upperclassmen. Assignment to senior buildings is by lottery. All residence halls except for two first-year buildings are open to students of both sexes. In addition to the thirteen residence halls the main campus has 165 furnished apartments for use by postgraduate students.
Dining
The main campus has five dining halls for use by undergraduate students; students can either pay for each meal or subscribe to an annual meal plan. Other options include a number of fast-food outlets and street vendors.
Media
The university has a student-run FM radio station which transmits at 104.3 MHz. The station's schedule consists mostly of popular music with some talk programs on academic and current affairs topics.
