The Gezi-class frigate is a class of surface combatants in service with the Ghantish Navy. It was designed to replace the venerable Model 68 Common Destroyer which, by the time the first Gezi-class vessel entered service, was more than forty years old.

The Gezi is designed as a universal escort, capable of carrying out both area anti-air defence and anti-submarine roles. In the former function, it is equipped with the Arthuristan HERAKLION phased array multifunction radar, capable of tracking more than 400 targets within the surrounding airspace and engage them with long range surface-to-air missiles. The latter four ships of the series is equipped with a boosted version of the HERAKLION, which extends its range out to 300km. This upgrade may be gradually retrofitted to older vessels as the naval budget allows.

In the anti-submarine role, it is equipped with a state-of-the-art sonars suite comprised of both a hull-mounted sonar and a towed array. The Gezi also possesses considerable anti-ship and land attack capabilities, using the RBS-15 and ACM-1 Cerberus cruise missiles respectively.

Gezi-class vessels were designed from the outset to be optimised for the subarctic Nort Thalassan conditions which the Imperial Ghantish Navy operates in. In stormy seas, it can remain stable even with up to 270 tons of ice accumulated on its main deck.
