The University of Lentini is a collegiate research university in Lentini, Crylante. The university was founded on the orders of the Teyrn of tir Lhaeraidd under his capacity as King of Crylante and Vrnallia to counter increasing rates of university enrolment in tir Lhaeraidd, and grew rapidly from 1799 as the United Kingdom of Lhedwin encouraged its growth to rival universities on the continent.

The university consists of fifteen colleges, with thirteen in the city of Lentini, one in the town of Lofthus, Badessa and one on the Vanir Islands, and a number of academic departments arranged into five schools. All the colleges are self-governing, making their own admissions and maintaining their own structure and activities, with Magnus College and Vanir College having more autonomy on academic studies than the other thirteen. There is no main campus and departments of the university are located across the city. Its undergraduate teaching is based around small group sessions led by academic staff, called "interventions", and supported by lectures, lab work and seminars provided by the various academic departments.

It is considered to be one of Aeia's foremost universities, being ranked at number four on Aeian Education's worldwide rankings, and has produced many members of Crylante's National Council as well as the heads of state and government of many nations worldwide, and has produced many notable academics, entertainers, journalists, sportsmen and other public figures over its existence.

Its current President is Ljana de Ouserad, a Lilledic psychologist and linguist who graduated with a Doctorate in Psychology and Linguistics in 1982 from Teyrn's College and has worked for the university ever since.
