Mountain Republic of Chechnya

The Mountain Republic of Chechnya (Chechen: ) is one of the six constituent republics of the Mountainous Republic of the Caucasus. Its formation was initiated in 1989, and achieved in 1991-1992, when it was established as a federated republic within the Mountain Republic.
