Jeana Shealy is an Aisling preforming artist best known for her work in the pop-rock genre. She signed a seven year contract with White Rider Records in 2007, and chose to renew for another three years in 2014. Her second studio album, Rock the Clock, which as released in 2013, has been he most successful recording to date, selling over 1.5 million copies in Temuair, with as many as 500,000 copies sold abroad. Her third studio album, entitled Rainbow is expected to be released in early 2016, a single from the album, Black Stallion was released in April of 2015, and held the number one position on the domestic Luas charts for five consecutive week, and three non-consecutive weeks. Although she has not been active in the music industry for long, her recent successes have been very profitable for Shealy, earning her over 40 million in 2014.
Shealy is known for not preforming one specific style of pop music consistently. Her fist album, self-titled as Jeana Shealy, was heavily influenced by the pop punk, where as her second album was more influenced by the pop rock genre, whereas her upcoming album, based on the released single, appears to be more in line with dance pop. An Luas critical review of Shealy's works, released following the debut of Black Stallion, reads "While Shealy may represent many styles, she is pop through and through."
Being from Rysé, located in eastern Temuair close to the border, she is sometimes considered by her peers in Fife to be naive and innocent. She has, however, done much to tarnish that image since arriving on the music entertainment scene, and has established herself as an Aisling sex symbol, along the same lines as other Aisling celebrities, including Marisa Hart and Natalie Neville. Lumenic music review magazine Tabellone proclaimed Shealy to be Temuair's "Sexiest Singer of 2014", and she was rated 17 and 21 on Glimmer's Hot 100 list in 2013 and 2014 respectively. Shealy does little to downplay her status, often dressing in extremely revealing clothing during performances and in her music videos, and continuing to write music with sexual themes and imagery. Despite this, she has turned down several propositions, many reportedly rather lucrative, from various adult entertainment enterprises, to participate in various pornographic works. According to a 2015 interview with Signboard, "I don't want to actually reveal everything, that removes the allure. Better to let my fans use their imagination."
Early life
Career
In July of 2015, she was invited to open for and preform several songs with fellow pop artist Marisa Hart during the latter's residency show at the Nuno Hotel in Fife.
Personal life
Public image
Since her second albums debut and success, Shealy has been widely regarding as an Aisling sex symbol by fans and the Aisling media. She has been ranked among the "Most Beautiful Women" of Temuair by a variety of social and entertainment magazine including Luas, Tabellone, Glimmer, and Fate. In 2014, Luas proclaimed her the "Sexiest Singer of 2014", describing her as the "quintessential male fantasy of a generation."
Shealy has done little to diminish her status as a sex symbol, and has instead embraced it. In interviews she has repeatedly expressed that she is "more than happy" with her appearance, figure and habits. She is known to wear extremely revealing and provocative outfits when preforming live, and consistently records music with lyrics with sexual themes, overtones, and insinuations. Her outfits tend to include bright, garish color combinations generally incorporating floral patterns. Her unique style has promoted many fashion artists to mimic it, and in 2015 she partnered with Cuithbeart Aguiar to produce a line of designer "Shealy" apparel.
