The Mayor of Laitstadt (Besmenian: Bürgermeister von Laitstadt) is the head of government of the state of Laitstadt and also mayor of Laitstadt. He chairs the State Chamber of Laitstadt, determines the guidelines for government policy, monitors compliance with them and represents the city. Since Laitstadt, as an independent city, has the status of a Besmenian state, the office of mayor of Laitstadt is comparable to the governor of the other Besmenian states.
