The Delamarian Strategic Petroleum Reserve (DSPR) is a supply of petroleum held by the Delamarian Department of Energy (DOE) for emergency fuel. It is one of the largest emergency supply in the world, and its underground tanks in Owland, Cardborough and Kallister have capacity for around 89 million barrels. The oil is sourced from both Delamarian companies, as well as international partners.

Facilities

The DSPR operates 7 facilities across Owland, Kallister and Cardborough, with its management office being situated in Fredricksburg, Owland.

Facilities in Operation

  • Elmwood Mound, 15 miles from Dayton, Owland.
  • Green Hill, near Concorn, Owland.
  • Himmel Creek, Owland.
  • DP Cogoil Complex, Jensen, Kallister.
  • Montdaird Complex, near Carson Hill, Kallister.
  • Tuo Kuai Complex, Redman Island, Cardborough.
  • McHenry Dock, Cardborough.

Proposed Facilities

In 2018, the Department of Energy proposed a new site in New Guernsey, along the Port of Calendon. However environmental activists have protested the construction, as the new pipeline needed between the site and the reserves would cut through the O'Cann national park. The project was put on hold by the department in 2020, as the congress hasnt yet allocated additional funding for the site.
