Nouskoon Kansat Synnyinmaamme (Instrumental)

Nouskoon Kansat Synnyinmaamme (Valimian Pronunciation: [nou̯skoːn kɑnsɑ synːyinmɑːmːe]; literally May the Peoples of Our Country of Birth Rise, most often translates as Rise the Peoples of Our Native Land) is the national anthem of Valimia since its adoption in 1922. It was chosen by president Hyvälempi to serve as the anthem to the nascent federation. The lyrics were written by Hesuro-Valimian writer Gertrude von Burgfluss.

Translation

 Nouskoot kansat synnyinmaamme,
aamuun uuteen myrskyistä yön.
Vallitkoon kotimaamme yli,
kansojen ystävyys murtumaton!
Menneisyyden murheet voitamme,
ja yhtenä kansana teemme niin.
Jotta uuden toivon päivän,
𝄆 kokee maamme riemujen. 𝄇

Rise the people of our homeland,
to a new dawn from the perils of the night.
May the unbreakable friendship of nations,
over our homeland reign!
The sorrows of the past we shall overcome,
and as one people we shall do so.
So that a new day of hope,
𝄆 is once more in our land of joy 𝄇

II

Olet minut synnyttänyt,
ja myös ylös kasvattanut.
Mistään en nyt maata löydä,
yhtä rakasta kun sua isänmaa.
Kaikukoon rakkaan maamme nimi,
läpi historioiden kansojen.
Kehdossa maamme hilpeyden,
𝄆 laulavat yhdessä veljelliskansat. 𝄇

You have given me birth,
and also raised me up.
Nowhere will I find a land,
so dear as you o fatherland.
Let the name of our dear country,
echo through the histories of peoples.
In the cradle of our land's joy,
𝄆 sing together the fraternal peoples 𝄇

III

Sua mä kiitän aina enkä,
koskaan kunniaasi hylkää,
Vaikka kärsimys, vaikka kuolema,
minut veisi, minä tänne jään.
Sun muistot suuret ja sankarityöt,
tulkoot aina muistetuiksi läpi maan.
Jotta valtavassa Liivan maassa,
𝄆 eikä vieras vaan veljein on. 𝄇

I will forever thank you,
and never abandon your honour.
Were suffering, were death,
to take me, here I shall stay.
Your great memories and heroic deeds,
shall forever be rememberd through the earth.
So that in the vast Valimian land,
𝄆 may not a stranger but my brethren be. 𝄇
