The Lijiangite (Lijiangite Template:Lang-zlh)are a species of humanoid goats that originate from the planet of Di. The Lijiangite are characterized by the long horns that extend out of their head. The Lijiangite evolved in their creation of social structures which define their cultures and societies that have been established. Many of these social structures are complex and limited by their geography and values. The Lijiangite are adept creatures that can live in a diverse number of environments that have allowed them to establish the eponymous Lijiang Republic. The term Lijiang comes from the belief that their species originated in the Li River.

Lijiangites are mainly divided and characterized by the shape and growth of their horns, and plays a large part in Lijiangite society.

The Lijiangites are omnivores with the capability to consume both plants and animals. The Lijiangites are mainly subsistent on a diet consisting of plants, and animals providing a supplementary food. The Lijiangites are able to survive over three months without food, and are able to survive a week without water in ambient conditions.
