Etymology
History
Civil War era
Sectional conflict regarding political representation, provincial rights, and economic disparities between the industrial north and agricultural south ultimately led to the Hrvadan Civil War. Between 3 August and 5 October 18, five southern provinces (Cvijecia, Juzetarska, Pijemont, Prijat, and Velrika) seceded from the rest of the nation to form Federalist Hrvada; while the central government, known as Council Hrvania maintained that such actions were illegal.
