The Arlesian Hegemony Description
Foundation
The Arlesian Hegemony emerged from a period known as the Deceleian Dark Age which followed the Veintine Golden Age centered around the Veintine League and its area. With the collapse of what was considered "civilized" society with the Plains People's Migrations south of the Atlas Mountains and into the Golden Basin in the 5th Century BCE, the various petty states collapsed and brought about centuries of violence and bloodshed along with the regression in some areas of sociological advancement. It is during the chaos of this period that the Deceleian Language was lost and we see what is considered Proto-Arlesian.
C. 232 BCE we start to see the establishment of the the Hegemony start to take shape as the city of Arlium established itself as a major player along the eastern coast of the Basin. With a minor war spiraling into a League War between Arlium and its Escaran League and the Detaran League
