Chryse Regional Command (Syaran: Регионална команда на Крајс, Regionalna komanda na Krajs, abbreviated as PKK) is a military district of the Syaran Commonality Armed Forces responsible for the defense of Syara's province of southern Chryse. The PKK is a joint command of all three branches and consists of elements of the Syaran National Army, Syaran Commonality Navy, and the Commonality Air Force.
Origin
Chryse Regional Command was established in 1989 as part of an international agreement with the Republic of Boreanya, during which both nations agreed to not allow the island's divided status serve as a casus belli for a conflict between the two. Per the agreement, both sides agreed to limit their forces stationed on the island to under 10,000 personnel. A headquarters was established on a former airfield for the Syaran Army Air Corps. Most of the forces stationed on the island were withdrawn during the Zemplen War. Troop numbers were increased during the Midsummer War and later during the Arzell Crisis, but remain under the 10,000-man limit.
