The Jeger Corps is the organization responsible for the training, administration and development of Jeger trained units across all branches of His Majesty's Armed Forces (Ringerike), this is mostly achieved by the running of Training and Selection Courses Courses out of the Jeger Training Centre, Hallingdal.

Jeger Forces are often differently equipped to standard units of the military, with a much larger emphasis on personal preference when it comes to certain elements of equipment, so long as it meets certain regulations, as well as the integration of new technologies resulting in Jeger units often being the first recipients of any newly adopted equipment.

Jeger Units

Independent Units of the Jeger Corps range in size from company to brigade, with all personnel within required to be qualified as a Jeger, they are regarded as the best troops Ringerike has to offer.

  • Hærens Spesialkommando (HSK)

The HSK (Hærens Spesialkommando) is the premier Special Forces unit of the Ringerike Army, specializing in direct action, counter terrorism, special reconnaissance and hostage rescue among other operations, making use of advanced airborne infiltration and exfiltration methods and being able to operate in any climate and terrain. It's exact size and organization is classified.

  • Marinespesialkommando (MSK)

The MSK (Marinespesialkommando) is the Ringerike Royal Navy's Tier 1 Special Operations Unit, specializing in maritime counter terrorism, pre-landing operations and a variety of other operations, they are also cross trained in advanced airborne operations and often work in close partnership with the Ringerike Royal Marines, as with other Special Forces units it's exact size and organization is classified.

  • Marine Jeger Regiment

The Marine Jeger Regiment's core role is amphibious assault operations, conducted via landing craft or by air, they also act as a fleet marine force stationed on major surface combatants as security and to provide a boarding force when necessary, they also specialize in small boat raiding and pre-landing reconnaissance .

  • 15 Jeger Regiment

15 Jeger Regiment serves as the Ringerike Army's premier rapid reaction force, providing a short notice forced entry, or international reinforcement capability by means of parachute or helicopter insertion.

  • 110 (Jeger) Field Squadron, Air Force Rifle Regiment

110 (Jeger) Field Squadron serves as a feeder unit, providing Forward Air Controllers to other Jeger units and the Ringerike Special Forces.

  • 111 (Jeger) Field Squadron, Air Force Rifle Regiment

111 (Jeger) Field Squadron specializes in the rescue and recovery of downed aircrew, as well as a specialist medevac capability in support of Jeger and Special Forces.

  • 101 (Independent) Recconnaissance Company

101 (Independent) Recconnaissance Company completes Special Reconnaissance tasks in support of maneuver and special forces, nominally providing a patrol to every major formation in the Ringerike Army.

  • Jeger Company, 1/1 Life Guards Regiment

Jeger Company, 1/1 Life Guards Regiment is responsible for the close personal protection of the royal family, specializing as a formation in urban warfare it also regularly supports the police within the capital city.
