The Republican Party is one of the two major political parties in Arabi, the other being the Democratic Party.

The Republican Party was founded in 2016 as a rival to the Conservative Socialist Party, which succeeded the Conservative Capitalist Party. The Conservative Socialist Party was considered by the founders of the Republican Party to be a major failure due to the lack of power held by the party. No member of the Conservative Socialist Party was ever elected to the presidency and barely held any power in Congress, unlike its predecessor which had signifcant power.

The ideology of the Republican Party is vastly different from the ideology of the Conservative Socialist Party, wherein conservative socialism no longer the major faction. Many members of the Republican Party are in favor of reinstalling the private sector and deregulating the federal government. Republicans believe the government has too much power over businesses in Arabi, specifically profiting from major companies without adequate compensation to employees. Republicans are in favor of lowering income tax, free market capitalistm, gun rights, traditional values, and higher military spending.

As of 2021, no person from the party has been elected to the presidency. However recent polls show the popularity of the Republican Party is on the rise, leading to many pollsters believing the party will possibly win big in the 2022 elections.
