Zryle(/zriʟ̠ɪ/ Zrylean: Zρu̅ε, Flangitanian: Zryye, officially the Federal Republic of Zryle (Zrylean: Zρu̅εsx φε⫐ρi ρεtwβu̅κ pronounced [zriʎɪʒk fɛdriː rɛpuːbʎiːk]) is a country located in the Zrylean Gulf. Zryle has a population of two billion, making it the most populous country in the region. Zryle's capital is Shipment Shore; other major cities include Flangit, Pfeka and Nisi Island. The country is divided in 13 administrative regions and 13 special town subdivisions.
Zryle borders the Zrylean Sea to the south and countries are yet to be enstablished in it's proximity. (See Zryle's Factbook.)
History
The land of modern-day zryle was inhabited by two main civilizations during it's history, the Flangitanian and Rym kingdoms, along with smaller ones, some important ones are the Qery Dinasty, the Kingdom of Ela, and the Lampe Grandduchy. The two kingdoms were created in the 4th century A.H., with the unification of some tribes, starting the expansionistic era which lasted up until the 12th century. The geopolitical state of the region remained mostly the same, excluding some minor conflicts between foreign countries, up until the 20th century. In August of 1933, after the cargo ship "LSS. Zrylean" deviated from its course and crash-landed on the shore of the Flangitanian Kingdom, where a temporary colony of Lwubustan was created, to then become fully integrated within the empire in September of the same year. In 1939 Zryle partecipated in the Intercontinental War of Lwubustan as a dominion of Lwubustan. In 1959, revolts against the maltreatment of the Zryleans started in the peninsula, a Civil War emerged and, in February of 1961, the Provisional Government of Zryle was declared, which became the Democratic Republic of the Peninsula (a.k.a. DRP) after a popular vote in the election of 1962. Zryle got back to being a democracy in 2062, where difficult political and social situations led to the start of the 100 year anniversary's second Zrylean election, which resulted in a win of the Zrylean liberation movement, putting in control a new democratic government headed by George Lombard.
