The Imperial palace of Canton or as it is officially known as Tiānton was build in the start of the city. It was build by the emperor Takeo Sakuri so he could live closer to the new center of power in the new nation he started. Construction started in the year 1629, only a few years after the beginning of construction of the first building in the city. The first part of the palace construction lasted 20 years and at the end of it the main building of the palace was build surrounding with some small other buildings. In total the palace had 5 expansions in which the palace complex grew for only a main building into a palace the size of a small city.
In the present it is the biggest palace of the nation and is still in use by the imperial family though some parts are open to the public.
The Imperial Maxamilian Palace was build by Ten'nō Eiko Sakuri for his husband Ōshi Maxamilian Sakuri. It is located inside of the densely populated center of the city and lies on the banks of lake Canton in the Eiko city park. The palace is no longer in use and is open to the public. In the present the building is used as a museum about the Imperial court life and the history of the Imperial palace.

Churches
Saint Catherine is one of the oldest churches in the city of Canton. It was build by the lady Isaki Oye in 1632. She was of the first generation Christians in CRD, her conversion happened when she went on a trip outside of Canton River Delta to the Christian nations of the north. The nation composted then of almost zero Christians and so it was difficult to build her church. The construction lasted 26 years with her and 5 other people working on it almost every day. Those 5 others were friends who also converted to the christian faith due to her. When the lady her life came to an end she was buried inside the church.
The church has since then had some expansions with a hospital wing and a church garden. It is in the present one of the most visited churches in all of Canton River Delta.
Dōuist temples
The temple of the Dragon is the one of the most important Dōuist temples in all of Canton River Delta. This is due to the importance it has to the monarchy. All new monarchs of Canton River Delta must be crowned in the temple of the Dragon by both the High priestess (女教皇 (Jokyōkō)) and the High priest (大祭司 (Dà jìsī)) of northern and southern Dōuism.
The temple is located inside the imperial palace of Canton (Tiānton). It was build in the first phase of construction of the palace complex.
