The National and Popular Workers' Front (in Boquense Creole: Frònt Laborature Naziunal ed Popolar) is a political party of the Republic of La Boca that emerged as an agglutinating coalition of the main parties of the left, center-left and some of the center-right, as a consequence of the beginning of the second stage of the so-called Boquense Model for the National and Popular Project (Spanish: Modelo Boquense para el Proyecto Nacional y Popular), led by Ramiro Garibaldi since October 5, 2021, Gregorian.

History

It was on October 5, 2021 (September 22, Julian calendar) when the guerrilla Descamisados seized power by force, overthrowing Prime Minister Tobías Ezequiel Espíndola after a coup. In a matter of days, the guerrilla formed by communist, socialist, veterocalendarist and justicialist groups managed to storm the capital city, Quilmes, and assume the reins of the government, led by the brothers Ramiro and Manolo Garibaldi. On the afternoon of December 31, 2021 (Julian December 18), after several meetings between the main leaders of the parties that supported the coup, many of them secretly, Prime Minister Ramiro Garibaldi unveiled the new party structure and gave The second stage of the Boquense Model for the National and Popular Project has begun, dissolving the current composition of the Chambers pending the call for new elections, which, however, the government has given no signs of holding any elections in the future.

Structure

The governing body of the FON&P (NPWF in English) is the Party Congress (separate from the country's Legislative Power) which, according to the Movement's Statute, must convene at least every three months. The Party Congress has three representatives from each political party that is a member of the governing coalition. The Party Congresses have the power to elect the Council for the National and Popular Project, with the participation of the working people, clerics, intellectuals, and militants. The Council, in turn, elects the Politburo or Political Bureau, from which emanates the President of the Party, who in turn could be the Prime Minister of the country. In each province, the representative body will be the Partcom or Party Committee, and so on in all the municipalities of the country.
