The Blood Pact was a group of military officers who conspired to overthrow Nikifor Osipov, then Vozhd of the Slavic Union. The group was lead by a faction of the Slavic army who subscribed to the Krovism faction of Osipovism, and it was spearheaded by a young military officer named Artem Gavrilov. The group was formed in 1948, and spent two years planning a coup against Osipov, but it fell apart after a member of Osipovs personal guard named Taras Andreev grew impatient and made an attempt on his life before the group was ready to launch the coup, the assassination attempt was thwarted and Andreev gave up the other members of the Pact, leading to multiple executions of the groups members.
