Sió
Sió, unofficially referred to as the Csongrádi Sió or simply the Csongrádi are the indigeneous tribe that live in the Csongrád Province in the Imperial North. They are native to the Tolna Mountain Range and share their homseland with the Morahalomi, the Tolnic and the Ároktői. The Sio are genetically considered to be part of the Meridian group and are tangentally related to various Hoditok tribes. Historically, the Sió have been considered to be the greater descendants of the Meridian King and the direct descendants of the Apostle of Religion. They have historically made a significant portion of members of monks are over 90% of all monk orders within the Empire are traced to the Sió. They derive the name Csongrád from a mythical island located within the mountains named Csongrád that was the homeland of the gods in the Csongrádi-Morahalomi Pantheon.
During the Proto-Imperial Era, the Sió represented one of the most fractured tribes, which was on par with other tribes that lived in the Tolna Mountain Range. Others such as the Morahalom, Tolna and Arakto comprised of over a hundred separate tribes that lacked a sense of common identity.
