The Allegheny Homesteaders Railroad is a common carrier railroad that currently specializes in passenger services, and is the largest railroad in several nations within the Alleghenies. The Allegheny Homesteaders Railroad originated as a railroad started from merchants in New Sierra, which was the largest port within the State of East Allegheny. The Allegheny Homesteaders Railroad was initially named the Eastern Allegheny Railroad Company and focused on both freight and passenger services. It was established 1824 and originally ran from Pelham County to Slate County as a strictly freighter train, but opened up as a passanger & freight line at the height of the Allegheny Coal Rush. In 1922, the Eastern Allegheny Railroad Company faced potential bankruptcy before the outburst of the Alleghenic National War which dragged much of the continent into war. In 1944, the Eastern Allegheny Railroad Company reorganized as the Allegheny Homesteaders Railroad and cut off its freight services in an effort to push passenger services at the forfront.

The Allegheny Homesteaders Railroad pushed for very aggressive expansion in 1945, absorbing over twenty different railroad lines into its corporation.
