Guadajara (/ˈɡwaðaˈʝaɾa/), officially the Republic of Guadajara (Spanish: República de Guadajara; /'ɾepˈuβlika dˈe ɡwˌaðaxˈaɾa/), is an archipelago and island country in the northern Atlantic Ocean. The archipelago consists of six main volcanic islands and numerous smaller islands, with a combined land area of about ??? square kilometres (??? sq mi).
Guadajara borders the Canary Islands to the north and Madeira to the south, and lies between 728 kilometres (393 nautical miles) west of Morocco. The country's islands form part of the Macaronesia ecoregion, along with the Azores, the Canary Islands, Cape Verde, Madeira, and the Savage Isles.
