Elizabeth III, (Elizabeth Victoria Mary Alexandra; joined 10 June 2020) is the Queen of Great Britain. She is the second child of John Somerset, 1st Viscount St. John, and Lady Magda Somerset, the younger sister of William Somerset, 1st Duke of Somerset, and the mother of James Somerset, 1st Duke of Warwick.
On 1 October 2022, she succeeded William V, King of Great Britain as Queen of Great Britain.[1]
The Queen has largely been considered to be a dedicated public servant, rarely going without an occupation within the Empire. Her long service within the House of Lords has defined the institution, saw the creation of the Rothesay Test, as well as the passage of the instrumental Statutory Interpretations Act 2022. She was also one of the principal authors of the Acts of Union.
