Rain Delay, Inc. is a Garetolian corporation formed in 2018. Originally named Kasmere Sports, Inc. Rain Delay focuses on the design and sale of athletic equipment such as jerseys, and as a primary sponsor for some football teams in the Garetolian Football Association. Its CEO is Jeremy Kasmere.
The name 'Rain Delay' is a nod to Kasmere's original sport, baseball, in which games are frequently cancelled (or delayed) for rain; however, since the company does not strictly offer baseball-only aparrel, there have been discussions on whether to change the name to something else. Despite this, Kasmere has reaffirmed his position on keeping the name, stating in 2021 that "[Rain Delay's] name is here to stay, and that's that."
Formative Years
Rain Delay was founded in March of 2018 under the name Kasmere Sports for about 7 months until the name was changed to "something more representative of the sport that [Kasmere and his colleagues] are familiar with." This change was met with some backlash, but ultimately these attempts were futile at best.
