Jakob Gordon Malingen, known as Gord Malinkobu is a Yoganian author, writer and poet born in 1854 in Barineul, Buryako, Yogania and died in 1921 in Yocopo. He is best known for writing "Yol Bard Burgumman" ("The Red Butcher") in 1898. He was one of the most famous Yoganian writers of the 19th century.
Jakob Gordon Malingen was born on 25 November 1854 in Barineul, Buryako, Yogania. He was the first-born son of Gudsol (née Jolston) and Burgory Malingen, also a writer. He started writing at 12 or 13 years old according to various sources.
