Prince Richard of Hanover (Richard Thomas Charles Alexander; born 5 August 1999) is a British actor, activist, and a member of the British royal family. The eldest son of King Thomas and Christy Turlington, he is currently the second in line to the throne, as the heir presumptive to his sister, Queen Alexandra.
Similar to his siblings, Richard's youth was marked by a generally affluent upbringing. Then, upon reaching adulthood, in the tradition of his ancestors, Richard initially sought a career in the armed forces as an officer in the Royal Navy, before a training accident abruptly cut his journey there short. Following this, Richard subsequently turned to acting, where he has since found modest success, with his first role being Colin Bridgerton in the Netflix period drama, Bridgerton, followed by a string of other roles in several movies, namely Enola Holmes, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Tom & Jerry.
