Cavalry squadrons of the Blackhelm Confederate army are utilized as reconnaissance units, and are typlically deployed to probe for weak spots in an enemy line, and then exploit those weak spots when found. Cavalry squadrons are designed specifically for deployment in rough or difficult terrain - especially jungles.
Structure
Each cavalry squadron is structured in the same pattern, broken into three platoons and a gun section, as well as an HQ unit. Each platoon consists of two troops, each containing three vehicles and fifteen infantrymen. In total, each squadron consists of 123 soldiers and officers, as well as 95 vehicle crewmen, for a total of 218 cavalry troopers.
