The executive branch of the Guadajaran Government is divided into 17 departments and TBA agencies, which are the principal units of the executive.
Each department is headed by a minister, with the exception of the Department of the Attorney General, which is headed by the Attorney General. The heads of the executive departments are appointed by the President and confirmed by the Guadajaran Senate, holding office at the discretion of the President and Prime Minister.
Heads of government agencies report to the secretaries of their respective departments.
The heads of executive departments are included in the line of succession to the President, in the event of a vacancy in the presidency, after the Vice President.
