Sir Hugh La-Minnings was an officer of the Vionna-Frankenlischian Imperial Army and commander of the Imperial 10th Division during the War of the Vionnan Coalition. He served as the unit's commander during the Battle of Clausbrücken where he led a superb rearguard action which gave the militias of Cunaris, Grythshead, Briceport and the Riverland time to form into an army to resist the Vionnan invasion. For his command at Clausbrücken, he received the King's Cross which arrived just in time for him to wear at his next battle. At the Battle of Glaenarm he led the 10th Division again and led the division in an attack against the left flank of King Richard II's camp. The attack relieved Lieutenant General Richmond's position and renewed Vionna-Frankenlischian chances of winning the battle. La-Minnings led the attack personally and was killed in the fighting. He was posthumously awarded the Cross of Romulus for his actions at Glaenarm.
