The Kalea Chronicle is the largest daily newspaper in Kalea. It is a privately owned and operated non-profit NGO and was founded on 1st January 1936.Its first publication was made the following week on 11th January 1936. Despite being privately owned, operated, and non-profit, it recieves funding directly from the Kalean Legislative Assembly. This is so the newspaper can reach as wide an audience across Kalea as possible to ensure the people are well-informed. Despite being government-funded, the newspaper is allowed to make publications as they see fit.
