The Alternative (Hverlandic: Alternativet) is a social liberal and green liberal party within the nation of Hverland. Their economic policy has been described as a "best of both worlds" approach: they support the vast welfare state of the Social Democrats and Social Liberals, and the pro-business agenda and competitive free market advocated by the Liberals. The party wishing to make Hverland carbon-neutral by 2030, a goal shared with the Green–Left Co-op.
