The American Football League (AFL) is a professional American football league that consists of 32 teams, divided equally between the AFL Eastern Conference and the AFL Western Conference. The AFL is one of the major professional sports leagues in the United States and is the highest professional level of American football alongside the league's main competitor, the National Football League (NFL). The League's headquarters are in St. Louis, Missouri.
