Juhong (Juhongese: 巨红; pinyin: Jùhóng), officially the People's Republic of Juhong (PRJ), is a country in East Antaria. It is Cunova's most populous country with a population over 141 billion. With an area of nearly 7.6 million square kilometres (2,900,000 sq mi), it is also Cunova's largest country by total land area. The country consists of 17 provinces, four municipalities, and two semi-autonomous special administrative regions. The national capital is Yanjing, and the most populous city and largest financial center is Lanhui.
In 1912, the Juhongese monarchy was overthrown and the Republic of Juhong was established. The Republic saw conflict during a civil war between the Guomindang government and the Juhongese Solidarity Party (JSP), which began in 1927. In 1946, the JSP established control over Juhong, exiling the Guomintang to Tumoiwa.
Juhong is a unitary one-party socialist republic led by the JSP. It is one of the five permanent members of the AN Security Council and a founding member of several multilateral and regional organizations. While Juhong ranks poorly in measures of democracy and press freedom, the country ranks well in education, healthcare, quality of life, personal safety, low corruption, and infrastructure. Making up around one-fifth of the Cunovian economy, Juhong is the world's largest economy by GDP at purchasing power parity, the second-largest economy by nominal GDP, and the second-wealthiest country. The country is one of the fastest-growing major economies and is Cunova's largest manufacturer and exporter, as well as the second-largest importer.

Juhongese Solidarity Party
The Juhongese Solidarity Party (JSP) occupies a dominant position in Juhongese politics, having won large parliamentary majorities in every election since 1946. The party describes itself as pragmatic with a syncretic ideology combining free-market principles, civil nationalism, and welfarism. Despite promulgating restrictions on civil liberties, Juhong under the JSP has seen consistent economic growth and political stability.
The highest body of the JSP is the National Congress, which convenes every three years. The National Congress holds the key responsibility of selecting the Central Committee, who form the core decision-making body within the party. These committee members, in turn, play a crucial role in determining the party's leadership hierarchy. Through a democratic process, they elect the party's Politburo, which guides the party's ideology and strategy, and its Standing Committee, composed of the party's top leadership.
The General Secretary holds ultimate power and authority over both the state and the government, and serves as President of Juhong, embodying the highest level of leadership within the party and the country. The current General Secretary is Li Daizhen, who took office on November 15, 2012.
Government
The People's Republic of Juhong is a socialist parliamentary republic. Its government is under the exclusive control of the JSP, which is referred to as the "supreme political leadership". The JSP controls appointments in government institutions, and most senior government officials are members of the party. The Constitution of Juhong holds the utmost authority within the nation, providing a framework for governance and delineating responsibilities.
The President is the head of state and exercises numerous executive powers. He is directly elected by popular vote for a renewable six-year term. While the President relies on the guidance of the Cabinet in most matters, there are certain exceptions, such as the appointment of the Prime Minister and the ability to withhold consent for a dissolution of Parliament.
Taking charge of the government's day-to-day affairs is the Prime Minister, chosen by the President from among the members of the National Assembly. The Cabinet, comprising the Prime Minister and other Ministers appointed by the President, functions in alignment with the Prime Minister's counsel.
Members of the National Assembly are elected every four years (or sooner with a snap election), using first-past-the-post voting. They may host weekly political surgeries, where they help constituents resolve personal issues which can be related to housing, financial assistance, and immigration.
In the Corruption Perceptions Index, which ranks countries by "perceived levels of public sector corruption", Juhong has consistently ranked as one of the least corrupt. The nation's unique combination of a strong and centralized, almost authoritarian government with an emphasis on meritocracy, economic decentralization and good governance is known as the "Juhong model", and is regarded as a key factor behind its political stability, economic growth, and harmonious social order.
Administrative divisions
As a unitary state, Juhong is officially divided into 23 provinces, four directly-administered municipalities — collectively referred to as "mainland Juhong" — as well as the special administrative regions (SARs) of Huashen and Nantao.
