James Etémé is an Apatonian activist, politician, and businessman who serves as the 8th President of Apatonia, having been elected in May 2022. He served as the Interior Minister under Mlamuli Ngotsha from 2018-2022, and escaped the political purge by Michel Lukonde by joining rebel forces in Wabi. He was then elected in the restoration election of May 2022.
