Eloá Inês Anahíara Boaventura e Esteves de Assunção (born August 17, 2000), known simply as Eloá, is a Baían-Indigenous Baían professional footballer and Royal Family Member who plays as a forward and attacking midfielder for Outubro Futebol Clube Feminino and Baía Vermelha, and is currently 11th in line to the Baían Throne. Born in Sauiá to Royal Family Member Brighton Esteves de Assunção and Indigenous Baían, Jacuíra Boaventura, Eloá is the first Royal Family member to become a professional athlete. She began her career at Clube de Futebol King's Crossing before signing for Outubro Futebol Clube Feminino in 2016.

On April 11th, 2018, She came on as a late substitute, becoming the youngest professional athlete in Baían history at only 15 years, 7 months, & 24 days. Eloá has since been chosen for the national team for several friendly and competitive competitions where she has become a figurehead of the Baían national side and a figure of honour amongst Indigenous Baíans. Alongside, Enzo Vasco, she is considered the best modern day football players in Baía Vermelha, and one of the best female Baían players ever.

Royal Blood

Through her father, Brighton Esteves de Assunção, Eloá is the eleventh in line to the Baían Throne. Her mother being fully Indigenous Baían also makes her the first member of the Royal Family to be directly descended from an Indigenous Baían.

Controversy due to Royal Background

Due to her blood being considered royal, there has been debate on whether if Eloá is given privleges and advantages that others in the sport are not provided, such as offers to larger, successful clubs, and playing first team football at such a young age. Eloá has been known for stating that she's "Not a Princess", and that everything she has done has been accomplished through hard-work, not due to her family. There are still those who disagree and there have been petitions for her to be banned from both club and international football in the country.
