General conventions

In general, postnominals are arranged in the following sequence:

1. Royal and National honours, in their designated order of wearing;

4. Degrees and diplomas in chronological order;
5. Fellowships then memberships of professional and academic bodies,
6. Parliamentary and military designations.

Full-stops are never used in postnominals.
