Wesia, officially the Kingdom of Wesia, is a country in Anteria. It covers an area of 45,246 km2 (17,470 sq mi) and has a population of more than 12 million. The capital and largest city is Osvern. The government is a constitutional monarchy with a parliamentary system. The official language is Wesian, although various Anterian languages are also spoken.
Wesia was formed as a group of kingdoms under the House of Hagan. The region was a rich trade center which became home to a number of oligarchs. Rising tensions between the oligarchic families led to the Wesian Civil War in 1632. At the beginning of the 19th century, the country possessed a number of colonies overseas. Following demands for democratic reform, a charter was formed in 1877. Further democratic reforms led to the establishment of the legislative council in 1905.
Wesia is a developed country with very high standards of living, quality of life and welfare. It also boasts an advanced high-income economy.
