The University of the Aprium, also known as The Aprium (Hakulic: Oscia ria tha Aprium) is a major public institution in the Skistan neighborhood of Syva Aethel in the Saathein Sovereignty of Seclya. Founded in July 2006 by the personal decree of Ostrax Ruven I and his consort Issarel Ermys. the school was constructed with an aim to produce State Thaizes for the Saahein Sovereignty. As such, it is a vocational school devoted to the magicks of the Seclyai elves, Hein Xeglya; the term Aprium refers to the collective body of knowledge related to the study of elvish magicks in Seclya.
The campus spans over 8,600 acres (3,500 hectares) on three contiguous sub-campuses in Syva Aethel, and a practicum lab in Ushya. The West Campus — designed largely by architect Raal Oswein — incorporates the neo-Hein architecture with the 210-foot (64-meter) Aprium Tower at the campus' center and highest point of elevation. It is adjacent to the campus augury. East campus, 1.5 miles (2.4 kilometers) away, is home to all first-years and contains the same architectual aesthetic. The university sponsors two concurrent schools in Seclya, Zasmar University in Ushya and Noprana University in Proso.
The Aprium's undergraduate admissions are among the most selective in Seclya, with an overall acceptance rate of just 4.4% for the class of 2028. The university spends more than $2 billion NSD per year on research, making it the largest research university in Seclya. As of 2024, the university has produced more than 2.2 million officially registered Thaizes with the government; alumni include 120 esteemed Asnyae Scholars and is the alma mater of the Ostrax, Ruven I and twenty-two Seclyai billionaires. The Aprium is considered Seclya's most prestigious academic institute.
