The Sifhala Confederacy was a Confederation of Neuew and Guurissi Pirate Crews, criminal gangs, and other vagabounds, who conquered the Sifhala Peninsula in the wake of the Guurissi independence war, and subsequently reigned in the peninsula until their reconquest by a coalition of Neuew Merchant Princes in 1658.
