Travis County is located along the shore of the Bay of Angola, halfway between Rhone and Willmington. Travis County is part of the Greater Rhone Metro area, however, cities on either side of the county will more closely align with Willmington instead. As of the 2020 census, its official population had reached 1,180,478. The county seat is Lenninburg.
