Etymology

The Overview of the Kingdom of the Mons Dominus, officially the Grand Duchy of Mons Dominus (Mons: tog' xo'jayinlari shohligi), is a small country with limited access to the sea. It has two principal regions: the Tog'lar (Highlands) in the north, and the Pasttekisliklar (low lands) in the south. Mons Dominus has a population of 3,524,853 in an area of 2,586 square kilometres (998 sq mi).
As a representative democracy with a constitutional monarch, it is headed by a grand duke. Mons Dominus is a developed country, with an advanced economy and a focus upon industrial and digital technologies. The nation favours economic ties over anything else, leading to it being identified as a nation that caters to corporations.
The city of Temir yog'och, the largest and capital city, is the seat of several institutions and agencies of the governing body. Reflecting its geographic position, Mons Dominus's culture is a fusion of varying ethnicities, borrowing customs from each of the distinct traditions. Mon Dominus is a bilingual country: Mons, and English are official languages.
Countryside
The southern two-thirds of the country is called the Pasttekisliklar (low land), and is more densely populated than the Tog'lar (Highlands). It is also more diverse, and can be divided into five geographic sub-regions. The central plateau, in south-central Mons Dominus, is a large, flat, sandstone formation, and the site of the capitol city. The southern territory, has craggy terrain and thick forests. In the lowest-lying region, running along the southeastern border are the nations industrial heartland and home to many of the largest towns.

Society & Culture
Mons are collectivistic and place a strong emphasis on family, community, and loyalty. The nuclear family is the core of the domestic unit, but also tend to have close ties with extended family, friends, and neighbors. Loyalty to these groups can sometimes override social rules, and individuals are expected to act for the good of the community to maintain harmony.
Government
The Kingdom is managed under that of an oligarchy, with tenets of a Scientocracy. One half of the governing structure maintains power rests with a small number of people, ideally suiting the imperial court and the nobles that serve are in positions of authority to maintain law and order over their assigned territories so that the rest of the kingdom may apply its focus to infrastructure. While the imperial senate creates and distributes public policies based on scientific fact and technological advancements.
The state organization of the kingdom is a very simple system that has two main dimensions, the Imperial Nobility and the Imperial Senate. The civil system is based on local administrative units based on the region's characteristics.
