Lyrord (Lyrian: Ͱλύριöρð Hlýrjörð), formally the Enlightened Concordancy (Lyrian: 'Υππλύστϝοπναηλές Upplýstvopnahlés), is a country in Parthenia. Clockwise from it's metropole, it borders X to the north, X to the east, Livonia to the south, and X to the southwest. It's administrative capital is Flugeldar (Φλυγελδαρ). however the most populated city is Samkoma (Σαμκομα), which also serves as the country's most important financial center. With most of it's territory inside the Sydra Peninsula, the country is almost completely divided from mainland Parthenia by Lake Frasjo.

The contemporary form of Lyrord's government - characterized by association with the widely popular Enlightment, began with the 1817 deposition of the Empire of Lyrord, a client state of Slethar, with the anti-authority movement known as Awakening. With the birth of the Federacy of Lyrord, the young republican state led under Róðerickur Kárólgarð survived and repel various coalitions formed by empires surrounding the revolutionary state, primarily led by the Sletharine. The Federacy brung deep socioeconomical and political change in the matter of years; with state religion being abolished, slavery banned, and various political rights instated. Although criticized for his maintainence of his own political dynasty, Karolgard led the immature republic into stability and inducted elections through Scientific Democracy, which would soon become a core part of the country's political policies. Becoming a hotspot for antimonarchists and revisionists of religious authority, Lyrord's intellectual force skyrocketed in quantity; becoming the indisputed scientific center of Parthenia until the 1900's.
