Jean-Bédel Bokassa ([ʒɑ̃ bedɛl bɔkasa] ⓘ; 22 February 1921 – 3 November 1996) was a Central African political and military leader. He became the sole leader of Rozengria after seizing power in the aftermath of the Rozengrian Civil War. He is responsible for the establishment of the totalitarian Zambian Rogue (ZR) with himself as supreme leader, until his overthrow in the Anglo-Zambian War.
