Peter VI (Portuguese: Pedro Alexandre Carlos Fernando de Bragança; born 12 August 1948) is King of Portugal. The eldest of four children of King Alexander and Princess Charlotte of Hungary, Peter ascended to the throne on 20 December 2000 following the death of his father.
