Lionsroar --> Terminology of Lionsroar

This article collects the various terminological terms relating to the Kingdom of Lionsroar.

The Sapphire Archipelago

The Sapphire Archipelago is a term that is used a lot, especially by the Lionsroarian tourist board. It alludes to the beautiful picturesque islands of Lionsroar in the North Bay. The water there is as blue as a sapphire.

Regnum Sanctae Maris et Insularum

Is Altlowenitsch and means "Holy Kingdom of the Islands and the Sea". It is an old term that was coined especially in the second dynasty of Lionsroar, which laid the first foundations for the current form of Imperatius, especially in the religious aspect. After the reign of the first dynasty and the establishment of the legend of the God-King of Lionsroar, Lionsroar and its monarchical representatives were henceforth regarded as holy. So much so that it is customary in the death cult of Imperatius to commemorate not only one's own ancestors but also the royal ancestors. It is believed that every monarch is legitimized and supported by their predecessors. This is another way of keeping the regime in power.

Lowenburg

Lowenburg is often used synonymously with Lionsroar as a term for the nation. This is mainly due to the fact that the capital Lowenburg has great economic, political and historical significance for the whole of Lionsroar. Lowenburg is where the monarchy was born and where it will die again. It has long been a bastion of all monarchist forces and has not ceased to be so even in the Second Democratic Republic.
