Govet OD is a firearms manufacturer based in Lappland. The company formed in the village of Uredalen and began producing high-quality hunting rifles. In 1933 Govet started developing military rifles as Lappland began building its armed forces, initially receiving a contract to mass produce domestic versions of the Trinovantan RD-01 and later to reproduce the RD-01.
