Yuridon is a planet located in the Tampina Arm of the Talin Galaxy. Orbiting the star Yuto within the Yuridon Nebula, Yuridon is known for its lack of sunlight on its surface. Ruled by warlords of the Yuto Clan, the planet is an exporter of ironum, a metal utilized in the construction of starships. Yuridon sports a variety of predatory animal and plant life. The plant life on Yuridon is particularly aggressive, and bioluminescence is a common trait. Yuridon's vast ironum reserves led to the emergence of a substantial mining and refining sector in its economy. The planet is known to have several moons including an outermost one.
Located within the Yuridon Nebula, the sector teems with rare nebula lifeforms, including the Tamennas, a species of space whale. The Yuto Clan sponsors sport hunting for Tamenna, but illegal hunting of the valuable space creatures attract many pirates and poachers.
