Dulniri is a terrestrial planet located in the Outer Band of the Talin Galaxy. Dulniri was first inhabited by the primitive but sentient Rosuu, but was colonized by the Human Expansion in 433 BHT, one of the first interstellar planets colonized by humans. The planet evolved culturally with a mix of Rosuu and Human dominance, and though some periods of tension between the two groups occurred, they generally coexisted peacefully and amicably. Following integration with the Galactic Union in 18 AHT, Dulniri thrived economically with its proximity to overspace routes, and the Rosuu were able to spread throughout the galaxy as tradesmen and merchants of the planet's widely sought-after Iabeblerry leaf, used to make tea and holistic treatments.
The population of the planet is about 411 million, the majority of which are Rosuu and Human, though sizable populations of off-world species reside in spaceports. The planet's economy is focused around the agricultural production of Iabeblerry trees. Dulniri is governed by a federation headed by a Chancellor. The capital of Denen contains the planetary legislature, which hosts senators elected by each political region across the planet.
