The Federation of Socialist Republics was a Marxist-leninist sovereign state primarily located within East Asura that existed between 1922 and 1981. In spite of its name, for much of its history the FSR operated as a confederal entity, with a high degree of autonomy given to the individual republics which existed within the state.
