History

The Silverdalean Armed Forces has its roots from its predecessors of the Queen’s Royal Force and the Congressional Armed Forces in the civil war. From the Crusade against the demons, the Expedition to Dyste in the Imperial War, to the Silverdale Civil War in the 1940s, the Silverdalean Armed Forces uses these roots of both magicraft and modern warfare to hone in on its reforms to become a Professional and Discipline Army. In the early years, the Armed Forces were task to enforce the peaceful upon the land, pacifying the remnants of rebels and monsters who roam the land to allow reconstruction of Silverdale to move smoothly. Experts from across the region were brought in to train and discuss the evolution of warfare beyond the homeland. Due to this, the first defensive doctrines that favored naval defense were created to protect the maritime sea routes and overseas involvement.

In recent times, the Armed Forces were present in the Shrilland Crisis, partake in the Kraken Wars, and minor peacekeeping operations. The Silverdalean Space Force proposal, sent by the Department of Defense, was sent to Congress to establish an independent Space Force to deal with alien nations beyond Earth. It is currently in debate on whether the service is needed for the two doctrines: first Silverdalean Space Fleet or a satellite defense network alongside with ground defenses.
